More campuses are exploring and hacking on open source applications like WordPress to start re-imagining the social implications of web-based communities for publishing, research, teaching, and learning.

The new BatesNews

Now that we have official content streaming through our news blog (Bates Views), the next step has been to help people subscribe directly to RSS and e-mail notifications based on their interests. This month, we began to transition our monthly BatesNews e-mail blast into our new Bates Updates e-mail campaign service.
